Imagination

imagination poemI’m guessing that I wrote and illustrated this around 3rd or 4th grade. It makes me smile to remember how I thought about things at that age…

If you can’t get outside today to be some place beautiful… remember, you can always go somewhere “behind your face”!

How delightful! Harsi, I am so glad that you’ve decided to do something every day – a daily treat to look forward to. ‘Especially loved the two red-tails. Warmest regards, Ruth

Ruth!!! So happy to have you “reading along”! I’m still struggling a bit with my desires to make everything perfect, but the new daily deadline is actually freeing me up a lot to just share something in a more spontaneous way. Truth is… I’m enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. I’ve been thinking of you a lot… This past week was a really busy one, but I was so pleased to get your recent e-mail and you should be hearing back from me soon. 🙂

Harsi – this is so sweet. I love that you even drew the picture with lots going on “behind your face.” (I like that you are smiling too…I guess behind my face I’m making the picture YOU!) This is GREAT 🙂 Thanks for sharing it!!!

Ha ha! Yeah, I like the picture a lot — I’m pretty sure the stuff is supposed to be a bird flying, a tree and (down at the bottom there) a rainbow. All things that I still like to dream about… I guess some things never change. 🙂 I’m glad I’m smiling too, Miss Songbird!
